The European Digitalization and Public Dialogue Initiative (EDD) stimulates dialogue and knowledge about digitalisation and its effects by jointly addressing the opportunities and challenges presented by rapid digital transformation. The platform works to engage all parts of society to contribute to the development of a truly mobile, educated and digital European generation.
The following eight countries have joined forces for this purpose:
Italy, Liechtenstein, Poland, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, City of Vienna, Ukraine.
The European Digital Days, one of the key projects of the initiative, works to make digitalisation a tangible experience for the broad public:
- Engage the public in discussion and debate on digital topics
- Increase digital literacy
- Foster digital affinity across Europe
- Create a skilled ‘future workforce’
