This workshop is created and organised by LAC Edu

During the Swiss Digital Day, LAC edu offers an activity for 8-12 year olds that combines art and new technologies.

A journey across that fine line between imagination and reality. Tech@rt is an expressive workshop where we discover that there is no limit to the experimentation and transformation of the arts. Drawing inspiration from the works on display at the Museo d'Arte della Svizzera italiana, young people will be able to embrace the infinite possibilities and connections that exist between sound, colour and form. During the activity they will build a work of art step by step, which will not only exist as such, but will also be transformed into a real musical instrument. A "magic" ink and electronic music become the protagonists of Tech@rt.

Luca Congedo aka Stone Leaf: biography
Born in Milan, Pietro Luca Congedo, (aka) Stone Leaf, is a solo percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, producer and performer of electronic music active on the international scene. His research particularly investigates the origin of sound through matter. Distinguished by electronic synthesis sounds, Stone Leaf's identity is characterised by the elaboration of sounds, new projects and educational methods on the relationship between new technologies and multiple artistic disciplines. Creator of audio/video installations that invite the viewer to live the work as a physical experience, Stone Leaf proposes a sensory journey where the theme materialises through the impact on the senses, giving the viewer the chance to become an integral part of the work.
